Monday morning our bus started next to our school. We went through Germany, Belgium and France. In Calais we went by ferry to Dover. In the ferry there were shops and restaurants. In England it was great to drive on the left. In the evening we were picked up by our host families. We had lunch and we went to bed because we were very tired.

On Tuesday we had school at Eastbourne Educational Centre. The lessons were very funny. We learnt lots of new things for example about the English spelling. After school we made a head tour round about Eastbourne. We saw lots of interesting sights. Three hours later we went by bus to Hastings where we visited the Smuggler’s Adventure, a museum of smugglers in earlier times. We had lots of fun, because there were things that you can try yourself. Then we went back to our families and there we had dinner. That was a very good day.

In the morning we went very early to our bus stop in Eastbourne. There our bus arrived to pick us up and we went to London. When we arrived in London we walked in groups to visit the most famous sights like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Piccadilly Circus. We even went by underground – that was very interesting. The best thing in London was the London Eye from where we could see very far. London was very,very,very good! I liked the city very much.

On Thursday morning we were at school again. It was called “ Eastbourne Educational Centre”. We learned in three groups with funny topics. Then we had a lunch break and went bowling. At the bowling centre we were divided into groups. As a surprise the teachers had organized an award ceremony for us.

On March 18the, 2011 the host families took us to Langney Shopping Centre where our bus and the teachers were waiting for us. We left Eastbourne at 8.30am. At 11.50am the ferry left Dover. At 2.10pm we reached the harbor of Calais. We made a break for half an hour. We arrived at our school four hours later. We were very happy to see our parents there. The bus trip was very funny.
